Partition marks the end of a chapter of Sindhi History, a personal
history, to which I feel very connected. For me, this history
began
in the ancient, mystical times of the Indus Valley civilisation, and
ends
at Partition. After this, the history of Sindi Hindus must be the
history
of individuals and their culture, unconnected with the geographical
history
of a land. These pages record a history of this important event, and
bring
it to life by telling it through the words of those who lived through
it.
